My grandpa Dan (also named Dan Klee) passed away on March 18th, 2022, one day before his 86th birthday. He was a bit rough around the edges, but he was a good grandpa and I miss him. I wrote this song around the time of his death and I'm releasing it now, close to the 1-year anniversary of his passing. He didn't enjoy this kind of music, but nevertheless, happy birthday, Grandpa Dan.

The elder Dan Klee was a lifelong dog lover, so any streaming or download purchase profits from this song will be donated on my grandpa's behalf to the Oregon Humane Society (www.oregonhumane.org). I'll be posting updates on my website for anyone who cares to follow along: dankleemusic.com/blog
